Duties
- Deliver engaging and customised English lessons to students of different age groups and skill levels
- Develop lesson plans that cater to individual learning needs, including those with special educational requirements
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement
- Utilise various teaching methods and resources to enhance understanding and retention of language skills
- Support students in developing reading, writing, speaking, and listening abilities
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and lesson plans
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes confidence and motivation
- Collaborate with parents, guardians, or educational professionals as needed to ensure student success
Requirements
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching English, preferably with children or students with special educational needs
- Strong communication skills, capable of engaging learners effectively
- Experience working with children is highly desirable
- Knowledge of specialised educational strategies for students with diverse learning requirements
- Excellent organisational skills to plan lessons and track student progress
- Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for education
- Relevant qualifications in teaching or education are advantageous but not essential
